Hello, I am Johanna. I have over 20 years of experience in both kinesiology and massage.
Massage
My Therapeutic (ITEC) and Holistic qualification were with the highly respected Bavara and Lolit Massage school in Edinburgh. I took further courses in deep tissue and remedial massage in the Holos School of massage in London. Later I studied orthopaedic/clinical massage under James Waslaski. I have also studied with Aubrey Gowing delivering Erik Dalton’s Myoskeletal work and with James Earls. I am engaging in peer mentoring to enhance my knowledge and keep my practice up to date.
I am fully insured and a member of Complementary Therapists’ Association CThA
Qualified as a professional practitioner at two schools of Kinesiology: Creative and Holistic.
Kinesiology
When not working, I like to spend time with my family, grow vegetables and flowers in my allotment garden. I exercise for joy and health, sometimes scaring crows by walking early in the morning!
I practise in Amble.
Important notice from Johanna
I work in an office on Tuesdays to Wednesdays. I see my clients on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in afternoon (3 pm) and Thursdays to Saturdays from 9 am onwards in Amble.
Please do not come to your appointment if you experience any symptoms of cold, flu or covid.
Please arrive ON time, not too early as I need 15 minutes between the clients to re-arrange the room and to have a break.
